Penalties and Penalty Shots

When a penalty occurs the ref will signal to the timekeeper to record the infraction. The player who the penalty was called on will have to leave the ice and be replaced by another player. Penalty Shots will be taken at the end of regulation. Penalty shots will cancel each other out. Penalty shot order will be determined by a “Shooter List” provided to the league by the team captain. This can be updated throughout the year.

In the playoffs OT will happen after the penalty shots if needed. No overtime in the regular season

Gametime

Games will be 3 x 15 minute run time periods. Goalies will change ends after each period. In the playoffs we will go to Overtime after penalty shots. Overtime will be 5 minutes of 4 on 4 and then we will play 3 on 3 until the game is decided. If a penalty occurs during overtime the penalty shot will be taken at time of infraction using the “Shooters List” to determine who takes the shot

Fighting

Fighting is not permitted. Fighting can result in your removal from the League once reviewed by the Committee
